Sorry I haven't been around. Been pretty busy. I'll bust through what I've been doing. Thursday was Thanksgiving and we went to my cousin's house and ate. Then to Matt's family's to eat. That's about what we did all day...eat. Friday I believe we worked all day. Matt got the molding and doors painted. He put some up on that day. Saturday I went to Lancaster for a few things. Matthew went with me and we had lunch with Nana. We met Matt out at Andy's for Madison's birthday party. She turned 3 and is so cute. She just adores Matt. Of course she calls him Bob Dole. We got her clothes cause she has so many toys. But her dad and family all pitched in and got her a pink barbie jeep. She just loved it and it's radio. They had it inside and she just floored it. But what was funny is when she got out of it she said "thanks Bob Dole". I have no idea where she got the idea Matt bought it for her but whatever. She was so funny driving around the neighborhood. She had one hand on the wheel and one changing the radio station. Saturday night I had a splitting headache and felt a sore throat coming on. Sunday woke up and had such a scratchy throat. I believe all we did was Matt finished all the base boards and doors. I started moving all the study stuff into the loft and arranged the family room. Matt and I both were up until after 12am working. But it's all done. Monday I was starting to get sick. Mom came up and Matthew and I went shopping and out to lunch with her. Of course she hit Jcpenny Outlet on the way here and bought Matthew an early Christmas gift. It's a Little Tikes swing and slide. It is so cute and great for indoor or outdoor use. Matthew likes to sit on the floor and play with the swing. Tuesday I woke up and sounded terrible. I went to my mom's all day. Today I spent the day cleaning. My cold is getting worse. You can hardly understand me and my voice cracks all the time. I also have chills and body aches. But things don't just do them selves. Hopefully I won't be sick for much longer. I have set a date for our 4th annual Christmas party incase anyone is interested Dec. 20th at 3pm. I will be getting invites out tomorrow.

oh Thanksgiving

Well Thanks giving is tomorrow. It kinda snuck up on me this year. Our carpet is being put in and the roofers are coming as well today. We are going to my mom's tonight for a Thanksgiving Eve :) dinner. Don't ask you won't understand. But anyways looking forward to it. I'm sure by tomorrow night I won't even beable to look at food. Mom and I have decided not to go shopping on Friday. There just wasn't any deals good enough to get us out of bed. I can't believe how soon Christmas will be here. This weekend we are putting in floor molding and moving furniture if anyone wants to help :) and going to a birthday party. I can't wait for all the furniture to be moved. I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving.

Deal of the Day: This week hasn't been very good on sales. Meijer and Kroger both had very similar sales last week. So if you didn't use your coupons last week go this week. I just remembered! Now this is kinda a rumor and not all stores are doing it. But some Kmarts are doubling coupons this weeked. So hopefully there are some good deals. I'm sorry to all those people that don't have Kmarts :(

Today was such a long day. My mom came up and we went shopping. We had rain checks and coupons to use. We ended up getting 14 free duncan hines cake mixes. Can't be that. They weren't out with the carrot cake until today they were on the shelves. We also got more cookie mix and hefty bags. I am fully stocked now and think I plenty of cookies for the holidays. I'm actually making some in between typing. We also went to Meijer. I got salad dressing free and marinades for practically nothing. I also got stuff for the game tomorrow. We are going to Lancaster to watch the Holiday parade with my parents. Then Matt's family is coming up for the game. I'm looking forward to the game. Of course I enjoy watching OSU play but this is vs.Michigan which is a much bigger deal. But anyways I have had such a long day of going here and there. Doing this or that. As soon as my last batch of cookies come out I'm off to bed. Hopefully tomorrow will be more relaxing.

RIP laptop

Well my computer is pretty much done for. Luckily Matt is leaving his personal laptop at home for me. I don't think I posted for the last couple of days. Sunday we pretty much hung around the house. Matt's dad came up to help Matt put up the crown molding. They knocked it out in just a couple of hours. Matt finished cocking and it looks really nice. I'm hoping the carpet comes in on Friday. Later that night we went out and did some things. We went to Jcpenny to get the cordless blinds for the loft. When we got there we bought the ones that Matt said would fit. But for some reason his measurements said that the window was 80in tall. Obviously that wasn't right. When we got home he realized he was reading the door measurements. There for the blinds didn't work. VERY FRUSTRATING!!! So Monday I went to return the blinds and it turned into such a long day. I went to Eastland and I was there 30 minutes before Jcpenny even opened. But they have a really nice indoor play area for kids. Kinda like the one at Tuttle but closer to us. Since it was so early there was only old people doing their morning walks. I'll definitly remember that when Matthew starts running around and gets ansy in the winter. Anyways they didn't have our size blinds in stock. I called so many stores but no one could give me a straight answer. So I went to so many stores looking for them. Then I decide to go to Lancaster because we had planned to go down there later anyways. But no luck. By this time it really started to snow. I started at 8am and didn't stop running around until 3ish. I was so done. Matthew and I hungout at my moms till 7ish. Then we met Matt at his parent's house. It was his dad's b-day. His mom made chicken alfredo and cake. Unfortunatly by 9p I was getting really tired and had to head home. The weather was bad off and on. But on the plus side Matthew slept the whole way. I went to bed right away but couldn't sleep. It was around 3am I thought to myself "why am I so awake". Then I remembered I had a coke at my mom's. Yeah that's what pop, soda, or coke does to me :) Anyways Matthew's teeth have been bothering him and he woke up at 6am. Just 2 hours after I fell asleep. He eventually fell back asleep and slept until 10 which I was so grateful for. So we have just been hanging around the house today. Matthew is getting really good at his walker. He'll chase me and run over the back of my feet.

Deal of the Day: This week kroger has steamers which are vegetables in the freezer section 10 for $10. There are coupons out there for 50 cents off 1. Which the Krogers around here double making each package of veggies FREE.

My computer isn't working AGAIN. This time I don't know what's going on. Anyways haven't been doing much but shopping, cleaning, and playing with Matthew. Hopefully I can get some laundry done today. Matt's dad is coming tomorrow to help put in the loft light and crown molding. Our carpet should be in on friday. Not much else is going on...

Deal of the Day: I went yesterday and got 10 bags of Betty crocker cookie mixes and 10 cans on evaporated milk for $2. Well the cookie mixes were 20 cents a piece and the carnation evaporated milk was FREE! They are 50 cents each if you buy 10. The coupon was 50 cents off 2 but they doubled to a dollar making them FREE.

I got all this for $10.75. Check out the pic. Matthew and I went to Lancaster to visit Nana and Papa. We spent most of the day there and did some shopping. We didn't do much else.

Matthew's 1st Mickey Ears

My brother and his wife went to Disney earlier this ear. Of course they were thinking of Matthew and picked him up his first set of Mickey ears. They are so cute and even has his name on them. For new/more pics go to Matthew's website. Hopefully we can go to Disney before he out growes it. Thanks Aunt Crystal and Uncle Nick.

Deal of the Day: This week Kroger has Betty Crocker cookie mixes on sale for $1 each. There are coupons out there for 40 cents off. My Krogers doubles upto 99 cent coupons. So that makes each cookie mix 20 cents. I purchased 20 coupons off ebay for just a buck or two. With Christmas coming I'll be very busy baking cookies :)

The reason for the title is that my computer was busted and Matt fixed it. We both thought is wasn't repairable. He took it apart and did his magic and IT WORKS!! But we agreed that if he fixed it that he was officially awesome. Anyways I'm catching up on laundry today. Matt hadn't made me any detergent lately so the clothes were backing up. But Sunday Matt showed me how to make it and I made 4 batches. So my day is consisting of washing, drying, and folding.

Long time no blog

Sorry haven't blogged much. Busy busy busy. Went to the JCPenny sale this morning. I had to take Matthew too because Matt had to go to some training. But he is a champ about shopping. I got there 30 minutes before they opened an the line was already really long. I mainly went to get a new vacuum for $30 and my mom needed one too. Matt put it together and it's very nice. But listening to everyone in the line apparently I wasn't the only one there for a vacuum. So I set Matthew up in the cart and Nana took him while I went to get the vacuums. I couldn't believe I got 2. There was people everywhere wanting vacuums. But anyways Matthew had a good time hanging with Nana in the drapes at a safe distance. Then Mom and I went to breakfast then went to Meijer. They had Betty Crocker boxed potatoes $10 for 10. It wasn't in the advertisement but they were on sale. Mom and I had 35 cents off coupons. Double those and that makes each box 30 cents. I bought all different flavors. Matt was gone all day so Matthew and I just hung around the rest of the day. We were both a little tired through out the day since we both woke up before 7am.

Busy day

I had a lot to do today. Unfortunatly I had no motivation so I got a late start. The weather was awful as well so that didn't help. Finally ordered the carpet. I went to order it the other day but they had to measure and stuff. But it is on it's way and should be installed within 2 weeks. Ran around with Mom then hung out a little so Matthew could visit with Dad. Didn't come home until 5ish and it was already really dark and raining a lot. Anyways I have to go to bed early for a sale tomorrow.

What a long day

My computer is still down so I'm on Matt's. Today wasn't very fun. Matthew and I woke up early but both got really tired after breakfast. I had to go to Meijer but decided to wait until after lunch. So we got all packed up and started driving. My car was make a slight noise in the back and I had a FLAT TIRE! I just had one last month. But this one is on the other side. Anyways roadside assistance came slowly. Walmart's wait was so long so I went to Meijer to kill time. I filled my perscription finally and spent my free $20. I also had 2 more $1 off coupons at Meijer for any purchase. So I ended up paying like 60 cents for everything. Though they didn't have everything I needed. So after that I went to Walmart and the wait was still over an hour. So I wondered around a little and got a few Christmas gifts. The tire was able to be patched so that was great. My mom's coming up tomorrow cause I have a doctor's appointment. Hopefully tomorrow goes better than today.

I haven't been able to research new deals lately with my computer down. SORRY...

Stupid computer

As many have noticed I haven't been on lately. Well my computer is busted. We haven't decided on what action to take with it. I am typing this from my mother's house because Matt needs 2 laptops for work. WHATEVER! Anyways I have been very busy. I have picked out our carpet and am ordering it today. WOOHOO! But since we have pulled up the carpet my house is kind of a BIG mess. It's really bothering me but I know it will be back to normal soon. On the plus side it is warmer and gas is down to $1.96! I'm getting a little more excited about the holidays. I don't have that much wrapping left. The biggest portion is the Christmas party gifts which is a ton and I wrapped them back in September. So I will try to get on once a day when Matt gets home.

Since doing this I have recieved many discounts and coupons. This week they sent out coupon packs with FREE stuff. My mom got a free 12 pack of coke and I got a free 8 pack of gatorade. There are too many to remember. However each person receive different coupons but somes better than none.

weekend of work work work

This weekend was so busy. Matt and I did a ton of the remodeling. We did mostly material shopping and price comparison on Saturday. But even that took all day. I finished up all the painting. Matt pulled up all the carpet with a little help from me. I will probably order the carpet sometime this week. I am really looking forward to it being finished. Matt and I both forgot about the time change. Matt woke up an hour early for a work thing and Matthew's meals were off a little. Matthew and I slept in until 10ish but technically it was 9ish :) so we woke up right on time.

My mom and I are splitting a bag. Matt and I love bake potatoes. My mom and Matt both like fresh cute fries. Then there is also mashed potatoes. Happy Halloween everyone! Today was very busy. Matthew and I went to Lancaster. We had lunch with my mom, Aunt Steph, Aunt Alyssa, cousin Joce, and Patty at Applebees. Then went shopping at Meijer. Tons of good deals today with coupons of course. Came home relaxed for maybe 30 minutes then off again. Went to visit some family friends. They wanted to see Matthew in his costume. We had planned on going to Boo on Broadway but before we could park Matthew fell asleep. So we decided to skip it besides Matt and I are both feeling exhausted anyways. Busy weekend plans as well. Yesterday Matthew and I did some shopping and had lunch with Matt. When Matt got off we went to a pumpkin patch. We got a big pumpkin and a pumpkin pie. Last night we went trick or treating in Lancaster. Alyssa, Steph, and Joce went with us. It was fun but cold and dark. Went to Matt's parents' house and hungout. Didn't get home until late so we all went straight to bed.

Today I woke up at 5am and couldn't get back to sleep. I went to the thrift store sale and got a ton of stuff that we needed. A lot was still in the packaging or new with tags. Anyways other than that the day hasn't been too exciting. I'm starting to feel bad again. I have body aches and don't have much of an appetite. My computer has been giving me problems today too. My cord that charges it isn't working correctly. I'm blogging now while my computer will stay on. Besides I think I may call it a day when Matt gets home. I hope everyone else's day went better. It was a nice day to be out.

Today was slow and a little boring. Matthew and I woke up around 9ish. Hung out most of the day. My mom came up at 2ish and we went to lunch. Then to the thrift store because the big 50% off sale is tomorrow and I wanted to see if it was worth going. It always is! Mom is staying the night so she can watch Matthew for me tomorrow morning. I could take Matthew but it's safer if he doesn't go. All those crazy shoppers and all. Matt and I went out to dinner alone. We tried a new place called Jimmy V's Bar & Grill. It was good. I had a chicken gyro and chips. Anyways after dinner we went to Kroger cause they had hotdog and hamburger buns 2/$1 just for tonight. Stocked up! Now we are just relaxing the rest of the night.

Deal of the day: well actually I found this deal last night. But you can use it for furture reference. I buy these gift certificates on line for restaurants. It called restaurant.com and it has a lot of restaurants in my area with coupons for $10 off $15 purchase. They also have some for $25 off $35 and so on. Well anyways the $10 off $15 ones are usually $3 and the $25 off $35 ones are $10. But last night all the certificates went to 80% off. So the $3 ones were 60 cents and the the $10 ones were $2. The website was flooded with people but my mom was able to buy some. In Lancaster the only restaurant listed is the Tiki Bowling Lanes which has a restaurant in them. But she got some for Columbus area as well. These coupons save us on money and also gets us to try new restaurants.
